An estimated 59.3 percent of all Guatemalans live in poverty. A sad result of this widespread poverty is that Guatemala has one of the highest rates of chronic child malnutrition in the world. Food For The Poor is partnering with Feed My Starving Children to provide 150\,000 specially formulated meals for children in Guatemala. We are taking a holistic approach by also raising funds to provide homes for nine Guatemalan families. Participants are asked to fundraise or donate $50 per person to help provide the meals packed at the event.
